
1. Dyspepsia
Simply, it means
indigestion. You may feel discomfort in upper abdomen after eating or
drinking. Pain may occur.
2. Anorexia
An eating disorder. People
having anorexia have
fear of gaining weight, so that, they eat
as much as less. Loss of body weight is the symptom.
3. Apnea
Difficulty in
breathing.
4. Flushing
Rapid reddening of
face, neck and upper chest. Due to increased cutaneous blood flow. Also,
you feel warmth.
5. Ataxia
Lacking of muscle control
and co-ordination. Slurred speech, stumbling are the symptoms.
6. Mydriasis
Dilation of the pupil. (As
the name is longer than miosis, pupil
also become long (dilates)).
7. Miosis
Constriction of pupil.
(Small name, hence small pupil).
8. Anhi(y)drosis
Inability to sweat
normally. Due to inhibition of sweat glands.
9. Cycloplegia
Paralysis of the ciliary muscle of the eye, resulting in a loss of
accommodation (zoom in/out). Because of this, the curvature of the lens
can no longer be adjusted to focus on nearby objects.
10. Pallor
Skin becomes pale /
whitish.
